In each episode, we meet a grandmother-granddaughter duo as they embark on a small journey and discover new sides of each other; regrets, desires and wisdom. 

The series unravels the small ironies of cross-generational connections: We meet the "queen" of Yemenite wedding rituals who can’t manage to marry off her own granddaughter; a young actress who helps her grandmother prepare for a date, finding the dating game too complex herself; and a photographer who tries to capture a few more precious moments with her ailing grandmother.

 

'Under Her Wing' is about cross-generational friendship, intimacy and mutual admiration, set against the process of ageing, the weakening body, and the inevitability of separation.
